FIXED!!! No need to replace modem.
- Open browser, type in 192.168.1.254 to open admin portal
- type "admin"; password admin password from modem
- "Change the device login password" - skip
- Dashboard - left menu - click Network
- Network dashboard - top menu - hover over LAN - click on BRIDGE
- BRIDGE page - check ENABLE BRIDGE (opens LAN PORT dropdown options - click LAN 1 (refers to port options on back of modem)
- click SAVE SETTINGS ("applying changes ...")
- Logout
- Unplug power from Redlink Gateway device, wait 10 seconds, plug back in.
- Ethernet light should turn GREEN now
- Test - open TCC app, adjust thermostat, see if thermostat registers change.
- THANKS ANNA!!!

I have the T3200M modem as well; so no LAN port bridging option.
For the past day I haven't noticed any offline instances by doing this:
- Log into modem admin acct
- Select Advanced Setup
- Select DHCP Reservation
- Select MAC address of Redlink Gateway
- Select any of the available IP's
Appears to be working for me, but YMMV.

Yeaaah, scratch the above. Back to 'normal', poor, connectivity once again after a day of smooth sailing.
- rcruz4 years agoFriendly NeighbourYeah I'm wondering how Dnice40 was able to access the other IP gateway if they had the Wi-Fi Boost 6. Would be nice to know how to do it and be done with this issue once and for all.

This is oddly unexpected, but I'll take it:
- Up to November 6 - ~6 offline messages in my inbox daily
- November 7 to now - NO offline instances
How are things on your end?

I work for TELUS and reported the issue to an article they had at work about compatibility of the different Gateways and different TELUS hardware about 2 week ago or so.
