Why do I have to have a neighbourhood account in order to get information on an outage?

The Service status thread doesn’t require you to create an account. If an outage isn’t reported it’s likely not wide spread or a localized outage (your location) only.

 

Best to contact Telus to report the issue if service isn’t restored in a timely manor.
