New modem

Just Moved In
Telus just sent us a "upgraded modem" we were told ours is out of date. The modem showed up today, and it is the same model number as the one i already have, t3200m. Is this a mistake, or does telus upgrade there modems and give it the same model number?

I have heard of this happening before, sometime a proactive action as Telus may have detected a problem remotely.
