Land line use as back up / hardly use / no sound keep flashing
happened few months back / automatically back normal / now happen again for few weeks / I call in
tech support said wire inside house wrong if fix telus have to charge
what could i do / give up the land line ?
i can not afford the fix charge

The charge would only apply if the problem is caused by something in the house. For example if your phone is malfunctioning, or if there was damage to the phone lines inside the house.
