I have a possibly silly question but as I don't have an account on reddit I wasn't to sure where to ask this, but I have an Iphone 12 Pro and a sim card with Telus. I have been wanting to do a refresh and just delete a bunch of apps I don't use, and go through the set up procress again after resetting, just to set it up differently, look into and use the 'focuses' on the phone and 'begin again' I guess.
But my brother is the only one with the sim card injector thing that you get when you purchase an apple device, and I am just wondering if it might be a safe idea to remove the sim card first before factory resetting the iphone or if I even have to worry about it. I usually use it to receive and get texts and it is apart of my 2FA (2 Factory authentication) for other apps.

If anyone is wondering this as well, I have had no issues!

It's not necessary to remove the SIM card.

No SIM card ejector, just use a paper clip like I do. Works great.
