Hi,
I have a T3200 in bridge mode and use my own gear for routing, DHCP, etc. I also have an Optik box that's plugged into a port on the T3200 and it works just fine.
Telus just sent me the white Telus Wifi Hub to replace the T3200 as I now have the 1.5 Gbps service. When I go to enable bridge mode, there's warning that pops up:
Warning: Enabling Full bridge mode will disable the following services provided by this router: Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi booster, smart home, and OptikTV service.
Is it really the case that using this new device in bridge mode will not allow the Optik TV to work?
Also, there's a drop down called "LAN Port" with the options of "FULL" and "LAN 1". Anyone know what this means?
Thanks.

The bridge mode on the T3200 only bridged LAN1. If you bridge all ports on the Wifi Hub instead of just 1, then yes, it's going to break some things.

Do you have the old Arris Optik boxes or the new Android ones? Bridge mode works fine with the new Android boxes since they’re pure OTA, but the Arris boxes need to be on a non bridged connection. This is where the port selection in the NAH comes into play. Bridge LAN port 1 only, and connect your 3rd party router to it. Use LAN 2 to connect to the arris boxes, or the Boost AP if you’re connecting over wifi.

Thanks for the info. When I realized that the ethernet ports were still only 1 Gbps I arranged for Telus to install an NH20A instead as it has a 10 Gbps lan port, and am no longer using bridge mode for anything.
