Growing up, my parents made sure that Christmas was magical for me and my brother. Every year, I strive to do the same for my little ones. With two toddlers at home, I’m always on the lookout for fun ways to engage and entertain them. My friends call me the Pinterest Mom, when I’m not working, you’ll find me pinning different activities for the kids. Here are a few I plan to do this holiday season.
Footprint Reindeer Christmas Card
This is a cute activity that kids of all ages can participate in. Our daughter is just two, which means she tries her best to keep up with her older brother, but some crafts are a bit challenging for her. This Footprint Reindeer Christmas card is the perfect gift they can do together to give to Dad.
Cotton Ball Snowman
How cute are these Snowmen? This is another cute craft that I think they will enjoy. I will get the glue ready on the snowman and let the kids place the cotton balls. Something easy and quick but they’ll feel quite accomplished when they’re finished.
Snowman Bark
Who doesn’t like Holiday Bark? This recipe seems like the perfect mix of easy baking along with a cute finished product. I know, my son and I will love making this together while my daughter naps. The perfect quiet activity.
A Charlie Brown Christmas
After all the baking and crafting, I love to settle down for a fun Christmas movie with the kids. One of our all-time favourites is A Charlie Brown Christmas. The 1965 animated special is the perfect family holiday movie, with great music and an important message for children. Short enough to keep the kids’ attention, and charming enough to warm the hearts of all ages.
