Home services cancellation

I cancelled all my home services effective May 9/2024. I gave plenty of notice and was paid in full up to that date (month to month/no contract). On May 10 I got a bill for just Internet (my services included Optik TV & Internet). Called Telus customer service and was told this was an error on their part and the charge would be reversed (explanation that the Internet service cancellation request had not been completed on their end). Telus representative apologized and I assumed this was resolved. Well now it's June and I just received ANOTHER monthly bill for Internet only...This is ridiculous, how many times do I need to speak to someone before this is completed properly? Anyone else having this same issue? Very frustrated 😞

  • I can’t either - and haven’t lived there since mid Dec and it’s March!

  • Stop bragging - you got to speak with somebody?? I’ve been trying since mid dec, March now, first to switch addresses (they didn’t show!) and can’t even cancel the line, despite the concierge service of Loyalty and Retention! They don’t call back!! I don’t live there anymore! Cancel the line and stop billing me!

  • Dude, same! I just posted about it too, then saw this. Mud dec had appointment for address change, nobody, can’t even cancel the line!!

  • I can’t even reach someone at Loyalty & Retention or anyone else to cancel my line in a house in which I no longer live!! Mid Dec they didn’t show for appointment booked to move service old house to new, I couldn’t reach anybody to follow up, so jyst assumed they cancelled since they know I moved - after sll, my telus cell address is the new house, so
I know people at the old house and there today - my line still active!! So I use it to call l&r, sert up call backs “within 15 mins” e TIMES with NO call backs!! What the hell am I supposed to do? They didn’t switch the services via the booked apmnt  I stayed home for, I couldn’t rebook, and now I can’t even cancel my home service?? Loyalty & Retention too?

  • I recieved a bill for internet plan for 2.30 even if I never recieved the home security service. They never installed it and I am being billed. Tried reaching customer service and cannot get to speak to anyone. This is my last hope.
