Error message linking WestJet Rewards to TELUS Rewards
I'm getting the error message "We regret to inform you that your WestJet Rewards account linking was unsuccessful. Please try again." when attempting to link my WestJet Rewards account to my TELUS Rewards accounts.
Have tried starting the linking process from both the WestJet end and from the TELUS end, and have tried from multiple browsers all to no avail. I also can't find anything in FAQ or support articles that even reference WestJet Rewards yet.
Unclear as to how to get help to resolve?

Exact same issue, same error message. I've called support many times since the program started. I have to repeat the error message as it seems new to each rep I speak to. Two weeks ago rep put a ticket in with Westjet . Today after an hour of holds, transfers and dealing with tech, im told to call Westjet!

Update. After 50mins with Westjet I was told to make sure names match both accounts, they did. Westjet said everything looked good on their end, still didn't link. Next day, I tried and accounts linked so solution call WestJet first. Not sure what magic they did.

Same, and Telus reps even "reset" or updated my Telus profile in some way. Happy to provide account details to help with the investigation.

Perhaps Telus needs to post an internal memo to allow their agents to know to wait for Westjet to fix this issue.
I just went through this same issue prior to reading this forum. Telus agents are unsure how to handle this and are transferring the calls from one department to another. Thx.
