Hello: I currently have TELUS Purefiber 250 subscription and our existing set up is a Wifi Hub B20T connected to a Network Access Hub which is then connected to a Nokia ONT where the fiber optic goe...

Thank you for your advice; Nighthawk; I appreciate your advice. Indeed, I should have kept all discussion in one place and not create a separate one (which I tried to delete but could not).
I posted several messages on this forum and one of the earlier one I got the advice to get the booster and so I did but I now realized it is not going to work, at least not connect to my original booster 2. I am going to try setting up the two discs as separate SSID if I can figure that out.

(3) The original v1 Boost units can be used but they will not mesh with the newer Boost 2 unit. They will have separate wireless network SSIDs. Both the Boost 1 (one of the pair) and Boost 2 will have to be hardwired to the NAH by either ethernet or coax depending on how your installation was set up. How large of a space are you trying to cover with wifi? Are you experiencing any dead zones or areas with weak wifi signal in your residence?
Edit: I saw your original post. As this is related to the question you posed here, it would be advised to keep it all in one discussion. As such, for point (1) above, no, it won't matter which device the fibre is connected to as your internet connection speed is less than 1.5gbps. For point (2), you will have two separate networks if you use the old Boost 1 units with the Boost 2. Only way for one single cohesive wifi network using Telus hardware is to have two Boost 2s or the pair of the original Boosts.
