Because it's an Android TV-based platform, Samsung's Tizen OS doesn't always recognize it under the name 'Technicolor'. When navigating the Universal Remote Setup on your TV, use the following:
Device Type - cable box / satellite receiver (or set-top box)
Provider/Manufacturer Search - if searching 'TELUS' doesn't immediately pull up a working code profile, search for 'Technicolor' or 'Bouygues Telecom'.
Alternative Profile - if you're prompted to select an OTT/Android box profile box instead, look for 'Google' or 'Android TV'. The box respondes natively to standard Android TV IR code structures.
If you're planning to use an IR blaster or just want to make sure your Samsung remote has a clear line of sight, just so you know the IR receiver is built directly behind the glossy black front plastic fascia of the box. It sits just to the right of the central TELUS status LED light.
If your specific Samsung Smart Remote variant refuses to map the power or volume keys via IR, you can always try turning on HDMI-CEC. Because this model supports HDMI-CEC, you can bypass IR programming entirely:
1. On your TELUS box go to Settings > Device Settings > Display & Sound > HDMI-CEC and toggle it on.
2. On your Samsung TV, go to Settings > General > External Device Manager and ensure Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) is enabled.
Let us know if that helps!

I tried all above…
Can anyone confirm the exact IR code family or universal remote profile that works with the TELUS Technicolor UIW4001e (SER2304TLU)?

I can't help with a code but this might be of use:

I was just about to mention HDMI CEC as another option. Sadly my attempt to use it worked with all but one of my devices:-(
