Request refund for overpaid bill on recently cancelled service
Hi
Can I please get some help for getting a refund for a recently cancelled service.
the latest bill shows I have overpaid and the email I received says the following
Due to an overpayment, partial refund or bill credit, you have no balance owing and no payment is required for this billing cycle. Your bill credit will be automatically applied to future charges or refunded if applicable. Your current bill credit balance is : -$87.43.
When I log in to my Telus it says that I do not have a linked product
thank you

Hi there - refunds are automatically issued via cheque if you do not have pre-authorized payments enabled. If you do have them then the refund is issued to that payment method.
They do get issued after the second bill after cancellation usually. Our official position is 4-6 weeks so if your cancellation was recently and you don't want to contact us, just wait and you'll receive it automatically. Just make sure that those emails indicate that your account is CLOSED. If you do not see that word specifically then definitely get in touch with us so we can make sure that nothing else is keeping the account open.
You can click on my profile and click on message if you want assistance

You will have to contact Telus to have a refund processed. Reach out to them here.
