TV remote not connecting to RCA
I just got a digital tv box and am trying to connect it to my RCA TV so it controls the TV's power and volume, so far no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

Since RCA uses a massive variety of internal chipsets, the setup doesn't always catch the right frequency on the first pass. The most reliable way may be to run a code search.
1. Hold the Options button for 3 seconds until the little green light on your remote flashes twice.
2. Enter 0001 (this puts the remote into search mode).
3. Press and hold the Fast Forward button on your remote. Keep it held down until your TV actually turns off.
4. The moment it does turn off, let go of that button and then press Power to turn it back on. This should lock that specific frequency that shut it off.
Other things to check are that your digital box isn't tucked behind your TV set or inside a glass cabinet while pairing; you're going to want a clean infrared path while pairing. Let us know if that works!

It did not. The green light doesn't even flash after I hold it, it just stays solid when I press it down.

Since that light is staying solid, the remote isn't entering "Program Mode." It's likely just stuck in a loop. Give these a try:
Power Reset: Pull the batteries for 60 seconds. While they’re out, press every button once to drain the power. Reinsert and try again.
The Combo Swap: If the "Options" button isn't working, try holding Mute and OK together for 3 seconds until it flashes.
Factory Reset: Hold Options (or Mute+OK) for 3 seconds, then enter 981. Once it flashes to confirm the reset, try the programming steps from the start.
