Grimmt My post before your reply today was on 17th. Since then I have not had a sound drop, whisper for normal talking, all seems normal level to date. I agree the sync sound/video has not been a problem as well.
I do think tech support did something, maybe they did several things and are not claiming credit as time will tell. BTW, I had max tuner volume set before this problem started.
