Why do I have to watch hockey on Prime when I’ve paid $209 for Centre Ice???
That would be because the NHL reached a deal with Amazon that pays them a lot of money so that Amazon can stream one game per week on Prime. That is something completely separate from any TV service provider like Telus or Rogers.
