Sound issues
I struggle with consistent sound when watching TV:
-When I watch tv for more than a couple of hours the sound un-syncs. I have to turn the pvr off and then back on again and it will line back up
-When I forward through commercials, the sound goes down (sometimes significantly). I have to press the home button, arrow across or do some sort of action on the home screen, and the sound returns to normal. I have to do this every. time. I. fastforward. through. commercials.
-Even if I'm not fastforwarding, the sound slowly lowers
-Trying to increase the volume using the remote doesn't work half the time, I turn it up and the volume doesn't increase.
My solution was to turn off the surround sound feature of TelusTV 21T tuner. On never surround sound and not auto sound depending on format received.
volume issue is resolved.
