Optik PVR not recording
A few months ago my PVR stopped recording scheduled programs. The odd thing is I can see the shows in the schedule but when the time comes it just doesn’t record. There’s 95% space so that’s not the issue. It’s really frustrating I think I’ll be switching providers when my contract is up.

Hi black84 - This is certainly odd behavior. Are you able to record at all? Is it just scheduled recordings that don't get recorded?
We would recommend unplugging your PVR from power. Rebooting your modem and once your modem is back on and working, plug the PVR back to power.

I tried that and it hasn’t fixed the problem. It’ll randomly record scheduled programs but the recording usually doesn’t work or is very choppy. It won’t record anything when I press the record button.

I had the same symptoms. I tried various simple fixes but nothing worked until the PVR was replaced
