NHL Centre Ice Black Outs

I want to know why both the Ottawa Senators/Montreal Canadians game and the Toronto Maple Leafs/Florida Panthers games on Dec. 2, 2025 at 4pm PST were blacked out on NHL Centre Ice?  There was no reason for them to have been blacked out according to the information on your website about blackouts.

    I recorded the games and then I also tried to go back and rewatch after I found my recordings were the blacked out feed.

      Thanks. Restart definitely defaults to TSN, which is geo-restricted. And did you record on the NHL Centre Ice Channel(s)? Or did it record on TSN by default/accident? (You can see this detail under the program recording of the individual game). To change which channel is recorded, you can go into to the scheduled recording and click 'Edit'

    Hi Bri78​ 

    Were you trying to watch the games live or were you restarting them from the beginning after they'd already started? Rogers has not allowed games on NHL Centre Ice to be restarted, so if you try to restart them, you'd be directed to TSN which has regional blackouts.

    If you were tuning in live, you should be directed to the NHL Centre Ice channel.
