How to connect Unify Cloud Gateway Fibre to Telus NH20A via bridge mode.

I want to use the Unify Cloud Gateway Fiber (UCG-Fiber) to service the internal LAN and the Unify Access Points.

Telus Network Access Hub (NH20A) Bridge mode 10G port --> Unify Cloud Gateway 10G WAN port --> internal LAN.

I have setup the Telus Network Access Hub (NH20A) in Bridge mode for 10G LAN port.

And then connected it to the 10G WAN port of the Unify Cloud Gateway (Unify is setup on different network 192.168.2.*), rest of the options are default. However it doesn't work.

Any help is appreciated!

FYI: Previously, I connected the Telus provided GPon transceiver directly to UGC Fibre via the SFP+ port, bypassing the Telus equipment and have setup UGC Fibre SFP+ WAN to connect using PPOE. This setup works however there are very frequent intermittent WAN disconnected between the router and internet which is causing a lot of problems for me hence I'm trying to connect via the Telus router bridge mode.

A couple of things to double-check:

    • Ensure the WAN on your Unify Cloud Gateway is set to DHCP, not PPPoE, when connected through the NH20A in Bridge Mode.
    • Make sure the bridge is enabled specifically on the 10G port of the NH20A (only that port will pass the WAN IP directly).
    • Confirm that the Unify Cloud Gateway is not still caching your previous PPPoE config. A reboot after switching to DHCP usually helps.
