home phone service
Phone calls are made to my home number from an iphone or some other cell phones I get a message that my home phone is out of service. This has happened multiple times when the caller has been certain they are dialing the correct number. I've been told this is a common problem.

This also seems to happen if you have fibre-supplied telephone, are using the phone when someone calls, and do not have Telus-supplied voicemail.

It is not a common problem. Call tech support at Telus and advise them that you cannot be called and that callers get that specific recording. It's something they can get fixed.
