Series recording does continue to fail. Not sure what is a start/finish in the programming. I have lost the next episode a few times, have seen this mentioned several times. My suggestion is to go into the scheduled recordings on a regular basis while you remember what you wanted to be recorded to be recorded to see if it is still there.
The first time I looked there were three in scheduled, I immediately realised that was wrong as there should be a dozen or more. When a series ends, whether as in season ending or just Telus ending the series is deleted from your scheduled, it does not pick up the next season. Truly seasonal shows have to be re-entered, which you cannot do until a week or two before once you look to see when a new season is about to start. So expect to miss the season openers.
