Recieved Collections Notice
So back in Dec 6, 2025 I had signed up for Telus 3GB Internet. That same week I got called to work out of town for 6 months, so I ended up calling and cancelling Telus services on Dec 14. The rep told me they can shutdown services on Jan 6, 2026 and there won’t be any charges. Jan 6 came and services were shut down as expected.
Fast forward a couple of weeks ago, I get an email from ARM Collections with a Telus claim stating that I owe $114. At first I thought it was a scam, but recent recieved a text message from them. I looked them up, and it seems legit. Re-read the first letter they sent me, and it has my Telus account # that I had cancelled. I created an account on the ARM website inquiring about what the charges are about.
I never received an email or call from Telus regarding any money owed. What is going on?
