The wifi calling feature just stopped working at some point today. We have next to no cell reception at home so we rely on wifi calling completely. It was working fine at 9:00 am but I noticed at 3:00 pm I was unable to make any calls. I have done and redone all the resets and troubleshooting tasks on both my device and my wifi router with no issues found. It isn't just my device that it is not working on either, neither my daughter or my roommate can get it to work on their phones either. We are all Telus subscribers on the same account.
I have read in other posts that sometimes network issues can impede wifi calling but haven't been able to find anything stating a current issue in my area.
Does anyone have any tips or insight into what's going on?

Unfortunately I cannot test mine as the default is Telus cell and it cannot be made to go WIFI only. Next week I will be in a location of poor cell service and I will post whether I had WIFI calling or not.
I did see greyed out choose WIFI only so maybe they are working on that.

I appreciate that. From what I can gather these network issues that have effected wifi calling in other instances can be localized to certain service areas so what is causing the issue I am experiencing may not have any effect on the service area you are in. On the other hand it could but if that was the case I would expect a flood of posts like mine if it was in fact a network wide issue. I live in a remote village and we have what they call micro towers, 3 of them, that provide our community with cell phone coverage. They are Telus owned micro towers however there doesn't seem to be any issues as I was able to use my phone normally when I went to the end of my driveway inorder to get service but technology being what it is that doesn't necessarily mean there isn't an issue, just means that if there is one, it hasn't hampered regular text and calling. I'm really hoping whatever it is, it's resolved quickly as standing at the end of my driveway in order to make or recieve calls is definitely not an ideal December activity.
