SMS Stop working
My APP is sending sms to registered customer, every once in awile SMS stops working for an hour or two. What would cause that?
It is our app, it is used to transmit alarms to customers. The alarms are when elderly people request help. We then Send SMS to a list of people. Unfortunately, every day, SMS stop being delivered, probably because of some volume rules that we cannot find anywhere. We do not send a lot of SMS in a day, but when an alarm happens, it might send many within a short period.

Community ManagerHello ubiconcept , by "our app" , what do you mean exactly? Are you able to use regular SMS using your phone's text application? Are you using Apple or Android?
An app we have developed, It runs on Android. Regular SMS AND the app are working fine then, like i said for some unknown reasons both Regular SMS (using messenger app of Android) and our App just stop working. It comes back on at next change of hours (ex. if it stops at 07:15 it will come back on at exactly 08:00)

Do you know if your regular SMS are sent using RCS from Google?

Inter-carrier traffic automatically sets limits and removes bursts of messages as probable spam, so you're most likely right on point about the reason. This isn't carrier specific, all platforms (including international ones) do the same.
Well if i go thru twilio it does not happen, ever
