Phone bill
Looking at phone bill what feature results in the incoming and outgoing numbers to be the same ?
also my usage isn’t accurate - why would it not show all incoming and outgoing texts ?

Are you sure all the messages you are sending and receiving are actual SMS/MMS messages and not RCS, Apple Messages, or something that uses data instead? (ie. Facebook Messenger, WeChat, WhatsApp, etc.) If the messages are not plain SMS or MMS messages, they will not show on usage because they are sent and received as data only.
