IPv6 Benefits?

I have gigabit with the trash can router. Are there any benefits to using IPv6? It's enabled in the router settings but test sites show no IPv6 address available. Before I research the settings are there any benefits now?

  • Apparently routing is quicker.

When you have IPv6 enabled, you will find that a lot of sites you connect with use it. Every device in your network that uses it will have a public IPv6 address/

Eventually we'll all be on IPv6 but right now, we're either not or are in a hybrid environment.

My understanding is IPv6 will be an automated roll-out with no need for user intervention.
