5G or not
I have 3 phones on with Telus all using E-sim card Samsung 24 Ultra, Note 22,and Note 20 they are in the same house and all phones side by side only the 24 shows 5G the other two dont have any thing 5G lite nothing just shows the bars?
Can you try resetting the network settings on the Note 22 and see if that gets it to connect?

The hard reset did the trick thanks
The notes each say prefer 5G what brought this on is my sister was in town with the 22. She told me that when she went to search for something that the phone said she had no data. I checked and she has roaming on. so I tried to figure it out when she got home. I have no issue with th 24 and the 20 never leaves the house

Maybe try toggling airplane mode off/on to see if she gets her data back? If that doesn't work maybe power cycle the phone.
also the 22 has preferred 5G in network settings

It's possible the Notes drop to 4G when 'idle' to conserve power. Do they switch to 5G when you do something that uses more data?
I had turned power saving off on the note 22 left it on on the note 20 and the 24 Ultra when you last posted about it and has not made a difference 24 has 5G the other 2 do not
Yes all the same plan I will need to check on the power saving
So I checked and all three have power saver on so that cant be the issue since as I said mine shows 5G even with power saver on

I believe the Samsung has a setting under power saving to disable 5G. Likely not enabled. I think the Notes will disable 5G if power saving is enabled. Easy to check.

Do all the phones have the same plan? Do the Notes have power saving enabled as that can result in 5G not being used.
