Last bill credit refund after account cancellation
Hello,
My account# 605419274 was closed Aug11 & I have my last bill balance as -$152.53. I was assuming that telus would refund on same credit card on file as they did for previous bill received on Aug 16(Aug11-Sep10) after closing the account using pre authorization they had already.
If this is not the case, please mail me a cheque on same address you had on account then.

About 6 months ago my scheduled closing of an account was messed up with early closure, reactivation with a new account number that resulted in my final payment being credited to old account and the new account was put into arrears.
I thought the person I was talking to was kidding when he told me it will take 3-4 months to resolve the issue. Last month (September) my account balance was $0, account closed.
Your situation appears to be similar.

Thanks for reaching out! Refunds are typically issued automatically to the original payment method on file if the account was set up with pre-authorized payments. If that isn’t possible, a cheque will be mailed to the last address listed on your account.
