Do you find your legacy PVR/STB to be snappy?
I remember back when I got my PVR/STB many years ago, everything felt snappy. Over time, things seem to slow down. There's lag here and there now with the UI. Anyone else here notice the same thing? I wonder if it's the background software updates over the years that just slow things down?

I find that the PVR response deterioates over time. A reboot every few months seems to rectify this. I don't believe there has been any software updates for this device in a few years.
Everything works fine on mine, “snappy” as its ever been.

That is odd, have you tried deleting a few recordings and resetting the box?
