I logged into my account to see that on my bill page it says that I have an overdue bill of 10 days (said it was due on December 2nd) but I paid that bill on Nov 13th. So when I clicked the pay now, as I assumed the website would be correct, I realized that I already paid for the month and I now paid ahead of time for December now. This is more of a notice to the tech side of the webpage but I did not appreciate that jump care only for it to misread my payments. And I am curious if anyone else had this message pop up for them? Around February of this year, we got salesman and technicians saying they are going to be installing fiber in our area, we saw trucks working on it around March to April, but past that we've gotten no updates or seen any progress. Looked at the internet plans for our area and it's still the same one we currently have, but when going to build a plan it says that fiber is available in the area but might not be at our location and to contact ACES(?) to submit a ticket. I tried reinstalling the app, rebooting both the modem & router, and connecting the two directly two each other, but no luck. I contacted Telus support and spoke with a CSR, but never heard back. Originally posted on Reddit but I was asked to post here... The title says it all, really. I haven't used the Telus Connect app for a while, and when I logged in today, it's showing the neighbours' Hub, Boost and Optik TV, along with all of their connected devices. When I log directly into MY Hub via a browser, however, I can see all my hardware and other details. I'm going to hazard a guess that this is a huge privacy issue, as I have access to all their settings and such. I am writing to raise a formal complaint about the mis-selling of your mobile and home internet services. On 27 Nov, I received a call from your advisor Farheen, who offered a mobile promotion and clearly said it was a Telus offer. She also discussed a home internet bundle and told me she would call back on 28 Nov to complete the setup. I never received any callback. To my shock, I later received an email and SIM card from Koodo, even though I was never informed that the service would be through Koodo. I opened the package assuming it was from Telus, as discussed. Additionally, the home internet plan given is not the same as what was explained on the call. The call on 27 Nov lasted 1.5 hours, and on 3 Dec I spent over 2 hours being transferred between departments without any clear help. This entire experience has been extremely frustrating and stressful. With the announcement of Telus Black Friday sales, I logged onto MyTelus and found an offer for 3Gig internet at a discounted price. There was even an Order Now box to click on and order the service... Well 3 hours later and 4 people trying to figure out what I was entitled to I ended up with being put on hold for yet another customer service rep, as I am apparently not eligible since I am not a new customer. I have cleared cache, deleted browser data, restarted the router and my laptop, flushed my dns however cannot connect to stockhouse.com when on my home network from any device (telephone, tablet, laptop, desktop pc). However when I disable my wifi and use my cell data it connects. Also when I am on a different provider (Rogers) at the coffee shop no problem. I closed my pending Home Services account on Nov. 11, and cancelled the installation that was scheduled for Nov. 27. Last night, you texted me to confirm the appointment, which I'd already cancelled on Nov. 11, when I cancelled my pending account. I have been trying to reach an agent to cancel it, but all I get is a message that the office is closed, and to call back tomorrow. WHY IS YOUR OFFICE CLOSED AT 11:00 ON A MONDAY MORNING?
