Dear TELUS Customer Care Team, I am writing regarding my TELUS account. Previously, this account XXXXXXXXX was under my wife’s Neha, and it is now registered under my name Vikas account XXXXXXXXX ( Since4 plus year with telus). Our family has been a TELUS customer for many years, and we have consistently paid our bills on time. My current two-year contract ends 18th of August. However, I was informed that TELUS does not have a better plan or any meaningful offer available for a long-standing customer like me. I find this extremely disappointing. After maintaining a loyal relationship with TELUS for so many years, I expected the company to recognize that loyalty by offering a competitive renewal plan. It feels as though the time and commitment we have invested as TELUS customers have not been valued. I respectfully request that you review my account and provide your best available plan, including any loyalty, retention, or renewal offers. If no reasonable option is available, I will unfortunately have to consider transferring my services to another provider. Please treat this matter seriously and respond with a clear written resolution. Sincerely,49Views0likes1CommentConnect App doesn't pause
Have been an optik internet customer for a few years, but just tried to use the app for the first time 2 days ago because I want to be able to pause the kids internet at night since it's summer and they go to bed later than me. I can login to the app, it sees my Modem/Network Access Hub (Technicolor NH20T) and Boost Wi-Fi 6 (Arcadyan Boost 2.1), and shows the connected devices list. But when I try to pause one of the devices I get the error "Oops Your modem can only pause a maximum of 0 devices. Please unpause some devices and try again." I have tried doing a pinhole reset on the modem and on the boost then uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Once the app eventually found the modem online again and I tried to pause something again and got the same error. Called customer support, after an hour on the phone she was stumped and said she'll call me back (with no reference number or anything, I honestly didn't think she would) and she did call and leave me a message about 4 hours later saying this is a known issue and they are working on a solution and they will send out an update when it's fixed (when? how will I know?). Does anybody have any information to corroborate or contradict this? Or any suggestions for me?169Views0likes9CommentsDoes Telus fully support GWSMO ?
I am looking for a way to fully synchronize the calendar in Outlook 365 Classic on Windows, with Telus/Google's online Calendar. I don't mean just import the Gmail Calendar into Outlook, nor have a read-only subscription to it, but I want to keep the two calendars fully synchronized at all times. Email works fine in Outlook 365 Classic using IMAP. But everything I read online says Calendars are hard to sync between Outlook Classic Calendar and Gmail Calendar. AI is telling me that "Google Workspace Sync for Microsoft Outlook" might do it, but ISPs that say they are "Google Workspaces" might not fully support it like other companies do. TELUS AI is telling me "Alternatively, you can use Google Workspace Sync for Microsoft Outlook, which allows you to sync your Google Workspace calendar (associated with your TELUS email) with Outlook." but is that true? It is based on this webpage but that seems to say it is only for Email and not necessarily for Calendar. This Telus user in 2025 says there wasn't permission on Telus to make their calendar fully sync with GWSMO. Has anyone confirmed that it works, or can say it definitely doesn't work? I'm trying to avoid a third party app like gSyncit or OutlookGoogleCalendarSync and don't want to mess with my setup unless I know it definitely will work.156Views0likes8CommentsContract renewal doubled in price
Our Internet contract expired and when I called to discuss renewal options, I was told that after all the discounts I was eligible for our new monthly rate would be $120+tax- double what we're paying now. We were left speechless. When I asked about the offer on the website for the same plan for $85 per month, I was told that existing customers are not eligible for those plans. Since when are existing customers being absolutely price gouged for their loyalty? We will definitely be changing providers but now I have to call back and wait on hold for hours just to cancel our services?? Year after year, dealing with telus is just getting more ridiculous.60Views0likes1CommentEarly cancellation fee due to student residence restriction
Hello Telus Community, I am currently under a two-year agreement for TELUS PureFibre, and I have been happy with the service. However, I will be moving into a student residence at the end of July. The residence provides its own internet service for residents, and separate internet installations from outside providers are not permitted. Because of this restriction, I am unable to continue using my current TELUS PureFibre service at my new residence. I contacted TELUS support to ask about my options. I was informed that I could transfer the service to another eligible address, but I do not have another residence where I can actually use and maintain the service. I was also informed that an early cancellation fee would apply. I understand that early cancellation fees are normally part of the agreement. However, I would like to ask whether my situation could be reviewed as a special circumstance or exception. I am not cancelling because I no longer want TELUS service. I would prefer to remain a TELUS customer if there were a practical way to continue my current service. The issue is that my new residence has restrictions that prevent me from using my current service. Has anyone experienced a similar situation, or could someone from TELUS advise whether this type of case can be reviewed? Thank you!Solved85Views0likes1CommentTelus Boost Wi-Fi 7 paired with Boost 6E Lite
I recently upgraded to Telus 1.5 Gig internet along with the Telus Boost Wi-Fi 7, paired with 2 Boost 6E Lite units. The technician told me there is currently no Boost Wi-Fi 7 Lite. Is that correct? Also, am I right in understanding that I only get Wi-Fi 7 coverage near the main Boost Wi-Fi 7 unit, while the areas covered by the two Boost 6E Lite units are limited to Wi-Fi 6E? I am trying to understand the setup for future device upgrades.Solved145Views0likes1CommentHelp! I got scammed and Telus refuses to cancel my accounts.
I need the support with my business mobility and business Wi-Fi accounts. They have been created with my old email which was compromise. I have contacted Telus multiple times since September 2025. I have made numerous disputes and received no resolutions. I was told that I would be assigned a case manager but haven't had one yet. I am not receiving any follow-ups. I would like my accounts canceled as soon as possible. I am very frustrated with Telus and their customer service considering this is a case related to identity theft with an assigned police report. I strongly considering pursuing legal action against Telus.54Views0likes1CommentIs T3200M compatible with Wifi Boost 7 (v3.0)?
I currently use the Actiontec T3200M connected directly to the fibre receptacle on the wall (I live in an apartment that is pre-wired for fibre). I recently upgraded to PureFibre Gigabit. The CSR stated that I did not need to upgrade the T3200M. The CSR also sent the new Wifi Boost 7. Following the instructions here: (https://www.telus.com/en/support/article/troubleshoot-your-telus-boost-wi-fi-7?INTCMP=Tcom-support_results-hub_wi-fi-boosters_troubleshoot-your-telus-boost-wi-fi-7), I have connected the boost 7 to one of the yellow network ports on the T3200M. The ethernet ports on both sides blink green. The boost 7's power LED first blinks white and after a few minutes turns green. The T3200M configuration page shows the Boost 7 as a connected device. I can connect devices via wifi to the boost. However, I can't get internet access to work when connected. Instead, I get a "No Internet access" error. I have tried the following: Power cycled both devices. Factory reset both. Disabled wifi on the T3200M. Enabled port bridging on the T3200M. Installed the Telus Connect App. None of the above have worked. So can someone authoritatively state whether or not the T3200M even works with the boost 7?Solved519Views0likes12Comments
