Hi, I have the new digital box and even though I have the settings for screen saver set to “never” and for power and energy I have both inactive and watching set to “never” it still insists on checking in after a few hours to see if “I am still here” and then goes goes into what I assume is screen saver. Highly annoying as I love my Naturescape channel on the weekend as I am doing housework and reading. I leave it on the channel for most of the day to provide nice relaxing ambiance. I see, checking the Forum, that this issue has occurred before. I am trying to remove a channel from my account (I'll likely be adding another to replace it). When I navigate to the online section of this bizarre site I get the following message below. (I have been trying for 2 days from my phone and my desktop!) The solution given in the past was to contact customer support. Obviously the person that wrote this "Solution" has NEVER TRIED CONTACTING CUSTOMER SUPPORT! I’m traveling internationally due to personal reasons and cannot return to Canada until a couple months. So my rental home now has a new tenant who seemed to have activated a new Telus home service. Telus without any intimation deactivated my account and sent me an email to return equipment. I need to be able to use the Telus internet when I get back and don’t mind paying monthly charges towards service although I’m not using . Now Telus says it will slap a fee up to $300 if I don’t return the equipment and that concerns me since I cannot travel to Canada immediately. I need help! Hi, I was checking my credit score and noticed that Telus had said that I owed money for a home services bill that was canceled over a year and a half ago and sent it straight to collections. Help! On August 22, I spoke to Telus about suspending my home Internet services in Comox. I received a confirmation number for that order. Then I had an email telling me I had made changes to my home account. Fine - but when I logged on and checked my profile, there was no mention of any Internet suspension. Instead, a new service agreement had been created, backdated to 2023, which increases my monthly Internet charges astronomically! All this without my knowledge or consent. Since then, I cannot get hold of anyone living at Telus: agents ore never available by phone. Can someone please give me an email or a postal address where I can file my complaint in writing, attaching the old(valid) service agreement and the new (illegal) agreement that tries to override it. I fell victim of the very scammy sale practice from Telus. I was signed up through a door-to-door sale in 2023. The salesperson clearly stated there were no hidden fees or cancellation penalties. Based on that conversation, I agreed to a SmartHome security, believing everything was on a 3 year term that I can cancel anytime. Today, after the customer support call I learned about cancelation fees! This was never disclosed verbally, and I would not have agreed to SmartHome under those terms. On top of that, the SmartHome system itself has been problematic from the beginning. The door camera has never worked reliably. I’ve tried to address this through support many times, but the issues were never properly resolved.. This experience has seriously damaged my trust, especially given TELUS’ recent ranking for customer complaints. At this point, I’m simply asking for a callback from customer service or the loyalty team to resolve this fairly, without penalties for a service that was misrepresented and never worked properly. I closed my account with Telus in October 2023 and received a final email in December 2023 noting my account had a $0 balance. 2 years later, I receive an email from ARM collections agency that I owe money to Telus. I called Telus, but they were unable to tell me what the amount was for. After emailing ARM, I got an email that there was a payment and the file is closed. I still have a collections notice on my credit report from another company General Credit Services that says my file is still open. Can I get some help? Reposting this a year later, still having the same UX issue on my Apple TV 4k gen3 with the telus streaming app. I recall someone saying it was fixed, perhaps it was in a build but since has been removed? Here's what I'm having a problem with: In "Guide" my time hops around (left and rigth) when scrolling down. For example... I open "Guide", I want to scroll down to see what's on at 4pm, in about 3-4 rows, I'm already at 8am now. I think these blocks should not cause me to jump backwards and forwards. It's a frustrating experience and I so badly wish it could just work the way it should work. I only want to know what I can tune into or watch at 4pm without getting156Views0likes8Comments
