Auto Sleep New Android Box?
Is there a setting anywhere on the new Android TV box to have it automatically go to sleep at a certain time of the day? I have a relative who often falls asleep with the TV on, and would like it to automatically shutoff around 10pm each night. The TV they use has an auto sleep feature which works well. However, the Android box stays on which causes problems the next day when they try to turn the TV on with the remote as the TV and Android box are both tied to the power button on the remote (so hitting power on the remote turns on the TV, but turns off the Android box as their power states are out of sync). I know this is a weird request, but it was possible on our old TV provider. Any ideas if this is an option with the Andoid boxes? Thanks!4.6KViews0likes3CommentsWhat to do with an extra ONT?
Our basement used to be rented out and the tenant had Telus Optik service. They have since moved out and we have renovated the basement as we will no longer be renting it out. We have an ONT already for our service so we don’t need a 2nd. What do I do with the Nokia ONT they were using? Hello, I was looking into the Pik TV service but it appears to have been discontinued/rolled into the regular Optik TV service. Years ago when I first looked at Optik, it required a router from Telus in order to use it. I use my own router (plugged into the Telus ONT) and wireless access points so I didn't explore any further. With the "all-new TELUS TV Digital Box", it seems like it will work with any wifi/network connection now? Is that correct? And it also appears that I can setup it up myself without an installer coming out? Thanks!Solved9.9KViews0likes4Comments
