Ya no the old 1200 is still a modem/router, it doesn't do 5g anyways so your speed would b limited to 2.4g 50/60M. Telus does use door to door sales. They ask for drivers license to do a credit check. If you are with Shaw they will offer a screaming deal. They are commission based so if you're uncomfortable giving them that info you could get the quote from them, make sure they put their employee id on it and then phone in. The V6 is your wireless access pt, cannot bridge any of it's ethernet ports. Pull the cover off the network access hub, use a flat screw driver at the top in the middle should pop off.
