The admin password can accept more than 16 characters by copy/pasting into the "new" and "verification" text fields. Once set, the admin password can no longer be changed because the "current" field is limited to 16 characters. I first stumbled upon this by observing that the Telus My Wi-Fi app would also not accept passwords longer than 16 characters as it's also client-limited. The only workaround I found was to reset the firmware to factory defaults, which is a hassle if you have spent time configuring the device (and there is no config import/export).4.6KViews0likes0Comments
