Thank you for your reply. I did have the series set to record but it did not record the episode last week or last night because the show name was different on the guide. I hope it is solved for next week. The public would not know the episodes are indeed airing, but hidden under a different show name on the guide. I finally noticed it yesterday when two back-to-back "NEW* episodes of Hudson & Rex were on the guide. I figured that was weird. Sure enough, one of them was a new Brilliant Minds episode. I have my PVR set to record Brilliant Minds on City TV every Monday night. There was no recording from October 27 so assumed that a new episode did not air that night. Noticed that it is not scheduled to be recorded tonight either. Looked at Telus Guide and see that City TV has two back-to-back "NEW* episodes of Hudson & Rex scheduled tonight. Wondering if one of those is supposed to be the new episode 7 of Brilliant Minds? I checked On Demand and see that episode 6 of Brilliant Minds did in fact air on October 27 after all, but it was not recorded. Is this because City TV had it mislabeled as Hudson & Rex so the PVR did not pick it up? Please correct this Guide error so that the PVR can record episodes. Why was the TV show, Tracker, removed from On Demand? The new Season 3 is not starting for several more weeks so why did Season 2 have to be removed? May we please request that Seasons 1 and 2 of Tracker be available On Demand? At least until the new season begins. Paradise tv show did not air as scheduled on Monday night at 5pm on channel 210 (CTV). The show Yes, Chef! played instead. I had my PVR set for 5pm so I missed out on the scheduled episode of Paradise. Why does this problem of missing and swapped out shows continue to occur across all broadcasters this spring? I have missed so many shows due to scheduling - early starts, late starts and skipped episodes, incorrect episode order. It is a nightly occurrence and I am frustrated as I pay a lot for Telus. I can not trust the scheduling and the PVR can not be adjusted for late starts. Shows will have the first 10 -15 minutes cut off "we are joining our regularly scheduled program" and nothing can be done .. a PVR can not accommodate for late start time that is cut off.528Views0likes1CommentPoker Face Aired Ten Minutes Late Tonight (CityTV)
Poker Face was scheduled to begin at 8:10pm MST (CityTV) and my PVR was set to record. Turns out that the episode began at 8:00pm so the first 10 minutes of the show were lost. Why are these errors in scheduling and airing increasing in frequency? This past two months, nothing but airing issues. Scheduled shows do not air at all and have been swapped out for other shows. Shows are shown in wrong episode sequence. Shows start early or start late and the PVR only catches part of the show. Especially frustrating If the episode starts late as there is no way to adjust the start time of a recording, only the end time. Hi there, The same episode of the Leverage Redemption TV show was aired twice in the past month. Episode 4: The Hustler Job was aired on both April 24 and on May 8 on USA channel 701. The episode on April 24 was supposed to be Episode 2: The Digital Frankenstein Job according to an online search. USA channel 701 completely missed airing Episode 2 on April 24 and instead jumped ahead and aired Episode 4 instead. So Episode 4 aired twice in four weeks (on both April 24 and May 8). Episode 2 was skipped completely and has not yet aired. In addition, I set my DVR to record the May 8 episode but the show started late because of some wrestling show from June 2023 that ran over time. When the episode finally started, it did not start from the beginning but joined 5 minutes already running into the program. The first 5 minutes of the episode was skipped over and lost. I trusted the cable provider to air the entire episode and my DVR to record the entire episode. This is a brand new season of the show. These are original first airings of new episodes, not repeats. Why do they not have priority airing to display the entire episode and not skip the crucial first 5 minutes for an old wrestling episode from 2023? Why do these broadcasting issues keep happening? It is expensive to have Telus. I am tired of episode mixups and sequence issues with new shows airing.536Views0likes1Comment
