Friday
Noticed that HGTV and the other channels that were removed earlier are now back. Are they on free preview or are they back permanently?
Friday
I noticed that as well. I would think because they were originally in our package that they should be included. We did not ask for them to be removed.

I think these are the new channels that Rogers owns. Now I can compare Home Network vs HGTV, so far they seem the same, although HGTV is missing all the new stuff that is on Home Network (I can't find Extreme Makeover: Home Edition on HGTV). I also hope some of the Canadian stuff that Corus owns gets on the network as I don't want to support a 100% American channel, especially one owned by Ed Rogers who is a friend of Trump....
Sunday
Extreme Makeover is on ABC, then reruns on Home. It's not original Home content, despite the appearance that it is.
Friday
Noticed as well, are they back?

Ya the only channels I don't see are animal planet and discovery velocity (I don't know if dv still exists or not)...
Saturday
I sure wish Velocity would return. The CTV Speed Channel is terrible…all the good shows are gone…Roadkill, Mecum Auctions, etc. Is there a place to complain about Velocity’s removal? (I would guess enough people complained of HGTV etc. being removed that Telus brought them back?)
Saturday
I want the answer to this so much! I was so excited they're back
Sunday
I see them on my app
but when I try to watch on my tv it won’t even go to the channel
would love to have them back that’s for sure
Sunday
Weird...I have old 4kpvr boxes still so don't know if there is a difference or not....I do know that channels are on free preview.
Sunday
Well I was determined to figure out why they weren’t showing up
so I did some searching and read to restart my optik box
did that and voila they are on!!!!
thankyou to the OP who said they were back!!!!!
Glad to have these channels again!

I expect this is a free preview period (for channels we already pay for) without the occasional banner announcing that. We'll all relax, watch the content we love (and are paying for), then suddenly they'll be gone again... unless we add Discovery+ to our already ridiculously expensive packages.
