If someone breaks into my front door, can they just unplug the power from the system panel to avoid setting off the alarm? with ADT the panel was hardwired. Now it’s just sitting there for anyone...

Official Support TeamWith Telus SmartHome Security, we have designed our system to minimize the risk of tampering. While the panel is typically powered through an electrical outlet, it does include battery backup that keeps the system active even if the power is unplugged. If someone attempts to unplug or tamper with the panel, the system will send an immediate alert to both you and our monitoring center.
