Frequent calling

I keep getting calls from (844) 962-1419 with TELUS as the caller ID, nearly everyday, sometimes multiple times a day. I've never picked up because I get these calls at the most inconvenience times. Today for example they've called at 1pm and 4pm and it's Friday. I am a telus customer so I'm not sure if this is real, or if it's a scam and I can just block the number.

It's quite likely a scammer pretending to be Telus. If you have Telus or Koodo for phone service, I'd suggest enabling Call Control. It'll block the automated spam/scam calls.

I have reason to suspect a call center contracted by Telus to try to generate more sales. Rogers does this so i figure Telus is at it too.

The phone number in question isn't a Telus toll free number or at not least one I've ever found to be associated with Telus. There are several reports that it's a scam call centre pretending to be Telus for months.
