I want to control our alarm using Google home. My Google Home account IS linked to Telus Home Assistant but Google doesn't work. Unlinked the account, then relinked it, didn't get prompted to input the code on channel 9097 nor did I get a chance to name our PVR. Google says 1 device is connected, we have 4 STB's, the alarm paneel, wifi boosters etc.
I assume I need to add Google to my 'smart home" but I don't see where to do it.
Google keeps talking about Telus Home Assistant, I only have 'smarthome', when I look in the android play store I don't see "Telus Home Assistant", I see "telus smarthome+", do I need to install that as well?
None of the telus videos help, neither does the FAQ. What am I missing?

Hey @Fisherguy - I personally don't use Google Home for my security. Have you spoken to our technical support team for an answer to this question?

I try to avoid calling Telus for anything as much as possible. It takes 2 hours to get hold of someone that I usually cannot understand.
This site used to have company people who'd help you, I guess downsizing has put an end to that as well..?

This is a community-assisted site where the focus is for users to post their experiences. The mod team like me come in and assist with things that other customers can't help with so it just might be that another user might not have an answer for you

It's not really supported, especially in terms of things such as voice command/control. Our SmartHome team is definitely working on creating official integrations, however at this time the support for the Google Home is limited. You always have the option of reaching out directly to our SmartHome team as previously mentioned as well if you'd like to discuss this further!

If it's not supported there's not much point in reaching out to the support team is there?!
I'm still waiting for them to come up with an external siren (but I think that was brushed under the carpet too).
