recording re-runs when set to first run only?

New to Optik and Telus but seems there is something wrong with the system here. Setting my recordings I select First Runs Only,, but I end up with everything.
Had similar problem with Shaw, but it was hit and miss. Telus Optik so far is 100% miss.
Is this normal?
Is there not a flag in the guide for "New" and "Repeat" episodes that the PVR is expecting but it's not present?

I believe the information regarding a show being "new" or a "repeat" is determined by information in the guide. Telus and Shaw lget guide information from a 3rd party and have no control over that information.


You can limit the issue by narrowing down the settings to a specific time of day and/or only once a day.
