Well it turns out the Telus website is WRONG. I went to the Telus store and they knew slimline 2 would not work on the new android box. They pulled one off the self and said take it home and try it before you buy, really, no cash, wow. Anyway they had a new box hooked up so I proceed to try and set it up. No way, different tech involved.
Online Telus says Slimline 2 is the latest & greatest, works on all Optik systems. Now what? Went to another Telus store, same answer.
Be careful with your new remote for the Telus TV+, it does not appear there are any spares to be sold online or in stores.
