TCL 40s325-ca code for the remote - that works

Has anyone managed to find a code for the TCL 40s325-ca remote that will work?

1724 is the closest one - can turn on/off, volume up/down, but that is it. Still have to use the original remote to browse.

Original remote to browse what? The smart TV / Roku interface? The Telus remote only controls the power and volume on the TV, in addition to the Optik box. If you're using the smart TV / Roku features, then yes, you'll need the TV's original remote for that. The Optik remote will not control that.

Code 1724 worked for my new TCL, but it’s a 2 step process to make the Slimline Remote do anything more than Off/On & Volume. The TV remote was still needed to have the tv to go the input setting, which was frustrating.
The solution was to go into the TCL settings:
Settings - System- Power, and select the input I.e cable box, HDMI etc.
Now I only the Slimline Remote and nothing else to control everything.
