When we use Closed Captions on live tv channels there is about a 5-7 second delay between the audio and the closed captions. We had a tech here and he could not fix it. All TVs and all channels.

That's been my experience with every Closed Captioning product I have used. Since it is a voice to text product, it has to interpret the dialogue, and publish the text, which is not instantaneous.
