Losing ESPN Classic?

So, if we lose ESPN Classic, what do we get as a substitute?

Telus doesn't control the broadcasters and I doubt there will be a substitute channel. No other broadcaster in Canada has a similar channel currently.

The broadcaster behind ESPN Classic announced in September that they were shutting down the channel. TSN has pulled the website for it down and the CRTC has pulled their license also.

There was a significant decline in viewership. It's unlikely that other broadcasters will offer a similar channel since there isn't a big enough market for it, even in the US. The US version of ESPN classic shut down on January 1, 2022. While some classic games are available on the US ESPN website, they aren't in Canada.

Ok, but I’m still losing a channel that I pay for. There should be a replacement, whether sports or not. Will my bill be reduced to reflect this channel loss?
