How can we stop the “press ok to watch recordings” message?

Change to a channel not the PVR menu channel

Hey WestCoasterBC - thanks for the reply.  Not sure I understand it completely. 

To clarify, that message shows up while we're watching a recording 😄 which is odd in itself.

It stays on the screen for anywhere between 5 seconds and 20 seconds, and comes back for the whole time we're watching the show.  When it's displayed on the screen, the pause, rewind, fast forward functions don't work.

Yes it is. 

Can you provide a bit more details around the scenario? Does the message pop up for every single recording, or is it certain specific ones? I'm trying to see if I can replicate on my end. Thanks!

Yea, on every recording.
When watching, the message is constantly coming up on the screen. The remote functions are incapacitated when it’s on the screen.
This is something new the past month.
