I was reviewing the text log for my account for the last two months and I noticed that the number of texts are way down from previous months, which them made me notice that one number no longer shows up that I know I text almost daily - incoming and outgoing texts to this number are no longer logged. The number still shows up in the call log when I call them though. I was wondering what could have happened to this number - did the other person do something?

What program / app are you using for texting? Are you sure it's sending the messages as SMS and not as data instead? Are you looking at the logs on your phone or the total number of texts listed on the monthly Telus bill?

I am messaging from iPhone messenger to an android, so SMS not data (unless Android and iPhone have changed to data since the new iOS update). I am looking at the usage log on my telus account. But now I am wondering if it was the iOS update, because it seems that all the texts volumes are down on all the accounts and it appears that group texts (between iPhone and android) show up, and short codes, but around mid to end of September other text with androids no longer show.
