hi, i recently got a pixel watch for my wife but its the large size and the store says they dont ever get the smaller ones in so they wont exchange it for us.
how tied to our account is this, if i were to give this to family in another province on telus or kodoo and buy her the smaller one direct from google will this effect the 2 year term we have with it.
Are we forced to pay it off if its no longer attached to her account? We are not canceling the line thats tied in to that phone with her larger watch we just want to transfer the number to a new watch we buy our selves direct from google and keep that line active for the next few years on the newer smaller watch.and let someone else have the larger one NOT on our account.

Hi there, The Pixel Watch is tied to your account through your 2-year term. If you give the watch to a family member in another province, you can complete a Transfer of Ownership for the device, moving it to their Telus account. Once the transfer is done, they would assume responsibility for the remaining payments, and it would no longer affect your account.

So i cant just hand it over to my family member on another account attach a new watch i buy else wheres to her account and pay off the original first device on our account over 2 years?

No, you won't be able to do that. The contract and plan are tied to the device. Unless you pay off the device balance and cancel the watch on your account, it cannot be transferred. Those are the only options available.

Thanks i guess we will return this watch than since we cant use it and cant exchange it for a 41mm sized one.
So what happens with my own watch its also on a plan like that. if it breaks on me and i put a new watch on my plan i buy else wheres do i immediately have to pay off the broken watch ?

I'm assuming you are buying the watch yourself and not on contract. If so, then no, you don't because it's attached to your account, you can set up the new watch to replace the old and the contract will continue.
