Using IPhone while traveling in Canada

I live in BC and I'm traveling in PEI right now.  I can't make a call from my IPhone.  I wasn't able to make calls from Nova Scotia either,  I have 300 minutes I can use Canada Wide during the day and free calls after 5 and on weekends.  Can you help as I need to make calls from my IPhone almost daily to make reservations.  Thanks.

Have not experienced such a problem taking my iPhone from BC to NL. You should probably call directly to sort this one out.

What do you mean by that? Does your phone not get any signal? Do you get any kind of message from the network? Does your phone indicate that it's roaming?
