Why isn't there a seven day service for US roaming package? Very disappointed! Also why was there such a delay on roaming service after I turn back service from airplane mode?

Because the phone has to search through a list of possible service providers before choosing one. Same issue arises when you switch from a specific carrier setting (Telus) to Automatic, it takes a while for the phone to find the most suitable connection.
