Hello,
I recently switched back to Telus from Rogers and I'm having a very annoying issue. I use Skype and Hangouts to place calls on my new S7 Edge a lot as my parents are abroad. I usually call when I walk from Union up to Queen's Park. With Rogers this was never an issue, but with Telus keeping a call going has become impossible. Voices are distorted, or Skype calls disconnect altogether. It seems to be a data throughput issue.
When I try the same thing near my home in Georgetown, I have no such issues at all.
Any ideas?

Rogers has more towers directly adjacent to University Ave than does Bell/Telus, which may be part of your issue. have a look at the tower locations on this site, and see if a slight route change would give better reception.

We do have the Telus Network experience app which you can download free and ping us daily in that area so we know we have poor quality in that area and can look to improve it for yeah! I apologize for the poor service area. In the mean time maybe look in your settings to see if you could downgrade to 3g. Maybe that has better coverage for now in that area?
